Summary:
The Intake Clerk is vital to the receiving and intake process, identifying and entering important asset information into the company's internal database.
Maintaining a high level of detail is critical not only to this position but defines how the asset is identified and handled throughout all operational processes.
Essential Duties and Functions:
Create and review asset records for accuracy.
Correctly identify and record product manufacturer information, brand and model numbers Understand cosmetic assessment and assign cosmetic grade to assets.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Properly record and remove asset tags from the assets.
Verify that Global ID numbers match the current job record being entered.
Assist in material handling as necessary.
Inspect, grade and log functionality of each device.
Create and review asset records for accuracy.
Run data erasure application and submit erasure reports.
Run diagnostics and imaging functions on devices that meet such criteria.
Qualifications:
General brand and model knowledge of various IT/personal electronic equipment:
primarily laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile phones; some enterprise equipment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand and use scan sheets.
Ability to boot to and change BIOS functions.
Willingness to flex into other job roles from time-to-time as production demands dictate.
Willingness to work overtime when needed from time-to-time.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, sit and stand.
Ability to recognize a wide variety of data-bearing devices.
Ability to read and understand work-orders.
Ability to read, understand and uphold policies and procedures.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1-2 years' experience applying similar skills.
Prior experience in a fast-paced technical environment is a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
