District Administration Center General Description:
The District Central Registration and Student Information Registrar will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the District's Central Registration and enrollment processes, and for supporting the registration of students in assigned special programs in accordance with the Illinois School Code, Board Policy, and Department Protocol.
Qualifications:
Relevant training and experience with student information data, records, and systems Post high-school coursework preferred Bi-literacy in Spanish preferred Ability to understand and use a wide range of technologies and software applications to support accurate, confidential, and detailed student registration information and records management Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team as it relates to the department's tasks Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Provides support for student information and other student services related programming (e.
g.
Special Education, English Learners, McKinney- Vento, etc.
) enrollments as assigned.
Maintains and ensures the accuracy of an online scheduling and appointment system for central registration, and assists with phone/email/walk-in appointment management.
Coordinates all reception activities in an efficient manner and properly manages door entry procedures for District Central Registration in accordance with safety protocol and training.
Ensures that all materials and documents for student registration, residency, affidavits and student records are accurate and current.
Remains current with best practices and the latest training on document and data management, the district's student information system, and recommends modifications or changes to data entry and documents management protocol as needed.
Tracks electronic document progress using Google Suite and creates files / folders for paper files as needed.
Provides support to buildings regarding the use of student information system modules and escalates concerns to the Student Information Manager / Specialist.
Supports the custodians of student records at the building level.
Monitors the progress and completion of student information system projects and tasks, assists with data cleanup efforts, and provides updates to the supervisor as requested.
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and appropriate manner, maintains confidentiality of information, and provides timely and accurate support.
Collaborates with Student Information Manager / Specialist to support the development of and approval for documents and reports to assist district/building administration and staff.
Assists with the updating of processes, forms, and requirements for registration, special programs, and department website information; explores and recommends improvements for enhancements to registration capabilities and online registration.
Coordinates and participates in Central Registration events (e.
g.
Kindergarten Registration) and community events to foster a positive initial point of contact for families to SD308.
Assists with other department-level secretarial tasks as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
