We are a small business that is very family oriented.
Our deli person will be the first point of contact our customers have with our company.
Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter our store Prepare food for customers while maintaining proper temperature standards Check out customers using company-provided procedures Process cash and credit card payments Prepare, serve, and carry products to a customer's table using the deli station method (e.
g.
, prepare chicken salad, tuna salad, crackers, etc.
) Cleaning and prep work stations and equipment area as needed Stock shelves and take inventory of items (including ourselves!) Receive, label, and date products produced at the deli station Maintain a clean work environment; keep shelves organized, clean, and sanitized (we do not sell alcohol) Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous deli experience preferred but not required Basic math skills to handle cash transactions; able to calculate prices accurately; able to calculate percentages; able to calculate volumes Job Types:
