, a leading manufacturer of conventional bonded and superabrasives is looking for a Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning Manager to join our Company.
This position is located in our Oswego, IL facility.
For more than 100 years, Radiac has delivered industry leading technology and quality products and service to the metal finishing industry.
Radiac is a TYROLIT Company that is owned by the Swarovski Group which is headquartered in Schwaz, Austria.
You will be responsible to align and synchronize demand planning with supply chain optimization and shipment planning.
Strategic inventory planning including developing strategies and programs to maintain appropriate levels of inventory as well as managing and monitoring stock and stocking programs.
You will be responsible to:
Execute all facets of the SI&OP process to provide an optimum customer service level and working capital performance as defined by the organization's business operating plans and strategic objectives.
Partner with Operations and Sales, to ensure demand consensus delivers an agreed upon, workable volume forecast (mid and long term); ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, and issues appropriately escalated to meet business objectives.
Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure that the appropriate data is available and accurate to be reviewed at the SI&OP process meetings.
Prepare and communicate to management, all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate.
Recommend and maintain optimal inventory levels while establishing and managing procedures for Radiac inventory based on the following categories of stock, Stock items, Non-stock (make/buy to order), Customer hold (Make and Hold), Consignment, Obsolete/slow moving.
Work with Sales on accuracy of data.
Assist in quantifying and defining scope for capacity throughout Operations to support inventory levels.
Maintain forecasts and manage links between systems for forecasting, master production scheduling, inventory management and product development.
Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems, maintaining a list of excess and obsolete finished goods material and work with Sales to move it.
Coordinates and manages physical cycle counts, monitors stock quantities for all finished goods, and develops strategies and programs to maintain appropriate levels including implementation of pull systems where appropriate.
Develop and execute best practices in inventory management for finished goods.
Updates and maintains all written procedures.
Collaborate with the Tyrolit MRP Central Planning team for development and adherence to corporate wide best practices.
Provide monthly reports and analysis to the Sales team to monitor customer compliance with agreements.
Accompany Sales on customer visits to discuss Make and Hold/Consignment programs, as required.
To qualify you must have:
A minimum of 4 years inventory management experience, college degree or equivalent experience and SAP inventory management experience.
Ability to work well cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to create and analyze complex spreadsheets using Excel, and create and present Power Point presentations.
Service-oriented individual that possess strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly learn key systems, efficiently multi-task, resolve problems in a timely manner, and adapt to new technologies are musts.
Possess excellent communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills.
High attention to detail with the ability analyze discrepancies and provide solutions.
Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of a WMS and SAP system.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
