Store Manager

They must develop associates at all levels, drive sales and profitability, and maintain effective expense and payroll budget management.
They will also ensure compliance with effective inventory management and merchandising practices and all store policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Provide excellent, positive service for all Customers and ensure all employees do the same.
Handle All aspects of Customer service, including special orders, complaints, and other issues.
Possess Product knowledge in all aspects of the store and ensure all employees have proper training to do the same.
Ensure positive, safe environment for employees and Customers.
Supervise the general operations of the store.
Ensure All Policies are implemented/followed and recommend new policies as needed.
Ensure stock levels are appropriate through ordering, receiving (physical and electronically), stocking / back stocking, inventory counts, and shrinkage management.
Responsible for the Overall cleanliness and appearance of the store (inside and outside), including public and non-public spaces.
Responsible for overall merchandising of store and products as well as signage.
Ensure weekly price changes are being completed.
Manage payroll and other controllable expenses.
Attend trade shows and seminars with company guidance.
Ensure effective training and development of all associates.
Manage and support hiring, weekly scheduling, and reviewing of employee performance.
Actively recruit and promote the advancement of store associates.
Challenge associates to improve sales, contain expenses and improve productivity.
Lead by example; be approachable by all associates and customers.
Education/Training
Experience:
Must have previous retail management experience.
Hardware experience preferred.
Physical Demands Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing.
